Because of your support and vote, there will be a:
SPECIAL RUNOFF ELECTION
ON JUNE 24TH
to decide the next Orange County District 2 Commissioner.
No candidate in the Orange County Commissioners District 2 election received the required 40% of the votes needed for victory, so a special runoff election between the top two candidates from the May 6th election is allowed. Because of your tremendous support, I have asked the Orange County Board of Elections to hold a runoff election on June 24, 2008 (early voting begins June 5, 2008) to determine the winning candidate for Orange County District 2 Commissioner.
This has been a hard fought campaign, and I anticipate that this runoff election will be extremely close. As a result, I am asking you to support me again and to bring a friend and/or neighbor to the voting booths on June 24th. I am your voice.
The stakes are high in this election, so every vote counts. I believe that my experience as a farmer, teacher, manager in the private sector, tutor and volunteer on numerous county boards makes me the best candidate to serve all of the residents of Orange County District 2.
